Caring for the WHOLE Community

RembrandtAt Wholistic Paws, we recognize that the best way to be a leader in our community is to serve others. We have challenged ourselves to take part in 4 community service projects a year to help improve the lives of those around us. Wholistic Paws is committed to helping the following organizations:

Loudoun Pet Pantry - The Loudoun Pet Pantry is a partnership between Loudoun County Animal Services, The Humane Society of Loudoun County, and Loudoun Interfaith Relief. Its mission is to help keep pets in homes by assisting families in need with temporary, supplemental pet food for dogs and cats.

Loudoun County Public Library Picture book donation - We believe it is important to promote reading and inspire young people through books. At Wholistic Paws, we will donate animal related picture books to the Loudoun County Public Library to help spark the imaginations of our future generation!

Paws for a Cause 3K Walk - Proceeds from this walk benefit Fairfax Pets on Wheels, Inc., an all volunteer organization dedicated to providing pet visitation to residents of nursing homes and hospitals.

Community Holiday Coalition - the Holiday Coalition has a Thanksgiving Program and Christmas Program that bring together people from all walks of life: those who need assistance and those who want to help. Each year nearly 1,000 volunteers and donors come together to "Brighten up the Holidays" for low-income Loudoun County residents.

In truth, caring for the WHOLE community stems from our day to day activities and interactions with those around us. At Wholistic Paws Veterinary Services, we strive to be community leaders by helping those around us every day and with the above community service projects. We challenge each of you to find a project that inspires you and to contribute as best you can. Your service will be a blessing to those whose lives you touch and a loving tribute to all of your pet companions!
