Our Practice Philosophies

WoodyAt Wholistic Paws, we recognize that we are joining you on an important journey of celebrating the human-animal bond and all the ways that bond deepens as your pet ages and requires more care. We respect that you are inviting us to witness and partake in a deeply emotional and personal part of your relationship with your pet. As we prepare for this journey together, let us review Wholistic Paws' Practice Philosophies. These philosophies will be our "road map" along the way:

  • Pets are family members and a compassionate treatment plan must be tailored to fit each family's needs.
  • The WHOLE pet must be supported in order to maintain quality of life. This is best achieved by combining Western medicine and complementary techniques such as Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, Rehabilitation, Pain Management, and Nutritional Support.
  • Age is not a disease.
  • Pets have the right to compassionate, loving end of life care and to pass in the peace and dignity of their own home when the time comes.
  • Families have the right to grieve for their pet angels and deserve care and support during this difficult time.
